Annabelle Hydrangea

Large 8-12” diameter rounded clusters of 1" white flowers among 4-8" serrated dark green leaves. Blossoms early to late Summer, and sometimes in the Fall. Vigorous upright with rounded-form deciduous flowering shrub. Attracts butterflies. Reliably producing blooms every year after serve pruning, and hard cold winters. Can grow up to 1-2Ft. per year. Unlike other hydrangeas, Annabelle keeps its flower buds over the Winter, providing more flowers come Spring time adds for your enjoyment. Growth Rate Fast once established
Sun Part Shade. Morning and/or Evening filtered Sun, or Shade in afternoon. 
Height 4-6Ft.
Width 3-5Ft.
Planting-General Dig hole large enough to accommodate the roots. Spread roots around and fill in with dirt so that the crown is at soil level. Likes loam, silt, clay (amended), sand (amended) soil. Likes moist but well drained soil. Soil pH range  6.0-8.0, moderate acid to moderate alkaline.
Planting-Spacing Plant 4Ft. apart for solid hedge between each plant, center to center. 8Ft. or more, for more open hedge, center to center.
Watering Average water need once established. If a dry spell occurs, provide a deep watering once or twice a week to mimic rainfall. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock.
Fertilizing Feed in early Spring with slow release fertilizer. 
Pruning Prune selectively in late Winter, or cut it back hard. Very tolerant of a hard pruning. 
Deer Deer do favor their taste. If eaten in the winter, plant will be OK come Spring. If in a high deer area, spray every 3 to 6 months with deer repellent.
