Hi ... several weeks ago I bought a Sweet Tea Olive and a Frost Proof Gardenia from you. I potted them up and they are doing well. The Sweet Tea Olive has blooms. Thank you so much!" Patricia W.

Bought 2 tea olive shrubs from him. They were and still are so healthy! He provided written directions on care and planting. That was so helpful since I'm a novice. I'll be back! Gayle T.

Planting-Spacing Plant 18 inches to 24 inches apart between each plant, center to center.
Watering Regular watering schedule during first growing season to establish deep roots. If planted in Fall, or Winter, water once every week or two. Planted in growing season, water more often. Also, more often in extreme heat or containers. Do not over water, as that will create root rot. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock.
Fertilizing Apply fertilizer in the Spring.
Pruning Not applicable. Do remove spent blooms to encourage repeat blooming, and remove dead fans only in the Fall, but leave at least 4 inches at the base.
Deer Deer do not favor their taste. If in a high deer area, spray every 3 to 6 months with deer repellent.
Flowers Profuse bloomer. Beautiful large cornflower blue flowers delicately softened with a silvery overtone.
