Incredibly beautiful 4-5" wide pale pink petals densely packed, fully double formed flowers. Its elegant blooms contrast the glossy, dark green, evergreen foliage. Its heritage dates back to the 1900s. A prolific bloomer, an abundance of lovely flowers for many months. Blooms from Winter to early Spring. Its numerous flowers are main attraction over Winter. Low maintenance shrub, is also resistant to deer, drought, heat and humidity. Item Description
Special Features Extremely attractive and densely packed large 4-5" wide double flowers from Winter to early Spring unlike most other shrubs. Deer, drought, heat, humidity resistant. Low maintenance.

Growth Rate Slow to Moderate, up to 1Ft. per year
Sun Part Sun – Part Shade. Morning Sun with afternoon shade or filtered Sun. Or all day filtered Sun. Avoid afternoon Sun to prevent leaf scorch.
Height 8-15Ft.
Width 8-15Ft.
Planting-General Dig hole 2-3 times wide and 2-3 times deep as the root ball. Likes moist but well drained soil. Likes various soil types. Like loam, and silt. Soil pH range is 5.0-6.5, thus acidic soil. Fine to add some 1-2” of mulch, or 3-4” pine straw to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. 
Planting-Spacing Plant 6-8Ft. apart for solid hedge or screen, center to center. 16Ft. or more apart between shrubs, center to center for more space.
Watering Average, low once established. Regular watering schedule during first growing season to establish deep roots. More often in extreme heat, or containers. Its roots do not like wet soil. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock.
Fertilizing Feed with acid fertilizer in the Spring, after flowers fade. Keep roots cool with a layer of mulch to retain moisture during heat of Summer and colder months of Winter.
Pruning Prune after flowering in the Spring. Do not over prune. Always use clean shears to avoid possibly spreading diseases.
Deer Deer do not favor their taste. If in a high deer area, spray every 3 to 6 months with deer repellent.
Flowers Provides large attractive 4-5" wide light pink flowers from Winter to early Spring. Flower as early as mid November in our area.
