Specifications

Item Description
Special Features Narrow, compact makes it excellent for tight spaces. Attracts birds. Disease, insect, heat, humidity, and drought (once established) resistant. Very low maintenance.

Growth Rate Moderate.  6-12" once established. 
Sun Full Sun – Mostly Sun. Thrives in full Sun. More Sun provides quicker growth and makes it denser. Grows well in part shade as well.
Height 12-15Ft.
Width 3-4Ft.
Planting-General Dig hole 2-3X wide and 1X deep as the root ball. Likes Clay, Loam, Sand and Silt. Likes well-drained soil. Likes neutral to slightly alkaline soil, 6.5 to 7.5 pH level.
Planting-Spacing For tight hedge, plant 3Ft apart center to center. For more open hedge, plant 6Fft or more apart center to center.
Watering Average. Low once established. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock.
Fertilizing Feed with a balanced evergreen tree and shrub fertilizer in the Spring. Slow release type.
Pruning No need to prune. since it has a natural pyramid shape.  May prune in early Spring to maintain neat appearance. Always use clean shears to avoid possibly spreading diseases.
Deer Deer do favor their taste. You can plant some American Boxwood near them to detour deer. If in a high deer area, spray every 3 to 6 months with deer repellent.
