Beautiful new glossy foliage growth is bright yellow and lime green in spring, changing to golden yellow in summer, changing to orange and fiery red in fall. Evergreen with year long interest. Summer to fall comes an abundance of ˝ inch long white trumpet/tubular fragrant flowers on the entire shrub. Has the longest blooming period compared to other Abelia's. And it attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Perfect selection for border, foundation, walkways, low hedge, mass plantings, container, patio, and slopes.  See Specifications below. Special Features

Provides a wide array of attractive colors all year round, and an abundance of small white flowers. Low maintenance. Heat, drought, humidity, insect, disease tolerant. Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.

Sun Full Sun, Mostly Sun. Morning Sun with afternoon shade. Morning Shade with afternoon Sun.

Planting-General Good with clay, sand, loam, silt soil types. Average to slightly acid, and well drained. Soil pH in the 4-8.0 range.
Planting-Spacing Plant 3Ft. for solid hedge,  center to center. 6Ft. or more between shrubs, center to center.
Watering Average. Low once established. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock.
Fertilizing Feed in early spring and again in mid fall. Avoid feeding during hot summer months. Good with a slow release fertilize for shrubs & trees.
Pruning Prune in early spring, late winter for desired shape and size. Avoid a lot of pruning if you want to  see the flowers.
Deer Deer do not favor their taste. If in a high deer area, spray every 3 to 6 months with deer repellent.
