Little Gem Magnolia Tree

(Magnolia grandiflora "Little Gem" Southern Magnolia)
Full Sun to Part Shade

This dwarf version magnolia evergreen offers 6-8" wide creamy white flowers with lemony-fresh fragrance like all Southern Magnolia trees, but flowers much earlier then the larger magnolias, starting at only 2 years compared to 5+ years. And it blooms for a longer period than the larger magnolias from late spring to frost. Grow rate is about 2-3 times faster than the larger magnolias, while offering the same conical dense upright shape with dark green smooth shiny leathery oblong-elliptic 5" long foliage with copper-orange undersides. Very popular for small spaces, native species to the southeastern United States, and a southern landscape tradition. Ideal as a privacy screen, focal point specimen, and framing corners of your home. See Specifications below. Shop the Little Gem Magnolia for sale. Buy direct from a small family owned South Carolina grower.
