Small white flowers starting in Spring in cone-shaped clusters 6-12" long followed by black berries enjoyed by the birds. This broadleaf evergreen shrub displays showy wavy arrow shaped glossy dark green foliage. Dense symmetrical and rounded canopy that is fast-growing (once established) at about 2Ft. per year. Also known as Wavy Leaf Ligustrum, Wavy Leaf Privet, and Recurvifolium Ligustrum. Perfect selection for hedges, privacy screen, foundation and borders. See Specifications below. Planting-General Likes  loam and silt. Clay and sand provided they are amended. Moist but well drained soil. Soil pH in the 6-8 range, moderately acid to moderately alkaline.
Planting-Spacing Plant 4-6 Feet for solid hedges, center to center. 12Ft. or more for space between plants with no pruning, center to center.
Watering Average, low once established. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock.
Fertilizing Feed in spring with slow release fertilize for shrubs & trees. Do not fertilize after two weeks to the average first frost to avoid early frost damage.
Pruning Do not require pruning. They do response well to shaping to form hedges or very attractive small trees.
Deer Deer do not favor their taste. If in a high deer area, spray every 3 to 6 months with deer repellent.
