| Planting-General | Likes loam and silt. Clay and sand provided they are amended. Moist but well drained soil. Soil pH in the 6-8 range, moderately acid to moderately alkaline. |
| Planting-Spacing | Plant 4-6 Feet for solid hedges, center to center. 12Ft. or more for space between plants with no pruning, center to center. |
| Watering | Average, low once established. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock. |
| Fertilizing | Feed in spring with slow release fertilize for shrubs & trees. Do not fertilize after two weeks to the average first frost to avoid early frost damage. |
| Pruning | Do not require pruning. They do response well to shaping to form hedges or very attractive small trees. |
